Abstract:

This study aims to study the psychological strengths of university students in terms of various variables and to determine the relationship between the levels of emotional conditions and the levels of psychological strength. The research work group was formed by a total of 273 students who studied at the Faculty of Health Sciences and accepted to participate voluntarily in the research. The research data, the 'Pandemic Information Form' prepared by the researchers and Smith etc. Developed by (2008) Turkish validity and reliability studies were collected using the 'Short Psychological Sustainability Scale' conducted by Doğan (2015). The data is analyzed using one-way variance analysis (ANOVA). The study found that university students would continue to talk to their friends after the pandemic as a result of the emotional conditions they experienced, they were doing more sports during the pandemic process and followed lessons conveniently, the positive impact of their family communication was a significant difference in the psychological stability of the situations. In the pandemic process, the common stress reactions have shown anger, tension, anxiety towards themselves and their loved ones. In this process, students who do not show stress reactions have higher psychological strengths.
