So many results that aren't mine?

Abstract:

Joris-Karl Huysmans'ın A Rebours (Tersine) adlı romanıyla Tahsin Yücel'in Mutfak Çıkmazı romanı birey ile toplum ilişkisini ele alan eserlerdir. Bu iki romanın başkahramanları olan des Esseintes ve Divitoğlu, çeşitli nedenlerle kendi toplumlarından nefret ederler ve evlerinde kendi hayat biçimlerini kurmaya koyulurlar. Ancak bu yeni hayat biçimlerini uzun süre devam ettiremezler. Bu makalede, birey ile toplum ilişkisini benzer bir şekilde ele alan bu iki roman, özellikle kahramanlar üzerine odaklanılarak karşılaştırılmaktadır. Jean-Paul Sartre'ın Oda adlı öyküsü de bu bağlamda değerlendirilmektedir.
