Engelli Bireylerle İlgili Türkiye’de Tamamlanmış Eğitim ve Öğretim Konulu Lisansüstü Tezlere Bakış

Abstract:

Bu çalışmanın amacı Türkiye’de engellilere yönelik eğitim ve öğretim konulu lisansüstü tezlerin araştırma konularına ve kurumlara göre eğilimlerini belirlemektir. Bu amaçla, bilim haritalama ve dar odaklanma yöntemini içeren bibliyometrik analiz gerçekleştirilmiştir. Ulusal Tez Merkezinde tezin adı kısmında “engelli” anahtar sözcüğü ile yapılan aramada bulunan ve konu filtrelemesi “eğitim ve öğretim” olarak belirlenen lisansüstü tezler incelenmiştir. Tezler tezin tamamlanma yılı, tezin türü, dili, yazarının cinsiyeti, tezlerin yapıldığı üniversite, ana bilim/bilim veya ana sanat/sanat dalı, tezlerin odaklandığı engel türü ve çalışma alanı değişkenleri açısından incelenmiştir. Sonuç olarak, ilk tezin 1985 yılında yapıldığı 2009 ve 2019 yıllarında tamamlanan tez sayısının en yüksek düzeye eriştiği görülmüştür. Tez yazarlarının ağırlıklı olarak kadınlardan oluştuğu belirlenmiştir. En çok tezin Gazi Üniversitesinde yazıldığı bulunmuştur. Tezlerin yarıya yakınının özel eğitim ve alt bilim dalları dışındaki bilim dallarında yapıldığı ortaya çıkmıştır. Engel türleri içinde en çok zihinsel engellilerle en az ise görme engellilerle ilgili tez yazıldığı saptanmıştır. İşitme engellilerle ilgili en çok tez Anadolu Üniversitesinde, diğer engel türlerinde ise en çok tez Gazi Üniversitesinde yazılmıştır. En çok aile araştırmaları çalışma konusu olarak seçilmiştir.

Overview Of Graduate Thesis On Education and Training Completed In Turkey Related To Persons With Disabilities

The aim of this study is to determine the trends of postgraduate theses on education and training for the disabled in Turkey according to research topics and institutions. For this purpose, bibliometric analysis, including science mapping and narrow focus method, was performed. In the National Thesis Center, the postgraduate theses found in the search with the keyword "disabled" in the title part of the thesis and the subject filtering of which were determined as "education and training" were examined. Theses; the year of completion of the thesis, the type and the language of the thesis, the gender of the author, the university where the theses are done, the department or the branch, the type of disability that the theses focus on, and the field of study were examined. As a result, the first thesis was made in 1985; it was observed that the number of theses completed in 2009 and 2019 reached the highest level. It has been determined that the thesis writers are predominantly women. It was found that most theses were written at Gazi University. It has been revealed that almost half of the theses are made in branches other than special education and sub-disciplines. Among the disability types, it was determined that the thesis was written mostly on the mentally handicapped and the least on the visually impaired. Most theses about the hearing impaired were written at Anadolu University, and most theses about the other disability types were written at Gazi University. Family studies were mostly chosen as the subject of study.
