Bozkır Uygurlarından kalan Şine Usu yazıtı satır sayısı bakımından diğer Uygur yazıtlarından daha hacimlidir. Uygur kağanı M’o-yen-ch’o tarafından 759-760 yılında dikilen yazıt, bugün kuzey-batı Moğolistan’da Mogoyn Şine Us bölgesinde bulunmaktadır. Bu yazıt da diğer eski Türk yazıtları gibi birçok yer adı barındırmaktadır. Yazıtta geçen yer adlarından bazılarının hayvan adlarıyla kurulduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu yazıda Arkar başı (Güney yüzü 1. satır), Sukak yulı (Güney yüzü 11. satır), Şıp (~Sıp) başı (Doğu yüzü 3 ve 4. satır), Taygan köl (Güney yüzü 3. satır) adları üzerinde durulacaktır. Alfabetik olarak verilen yer adları hem köken bilgisi bakımından incelenecek hem de yer tespiti yapılmaya çalışılacaktır. İncelenen yer adlarının Anadolu ile diğer Türk coğrafyalarında kullanılıp kullanılmadığı sorusuna da yanıt aranacaktır.
The process of entering the Russian domination of the Karachi-Malkar Turks is a matter that should be addressed in general with the other northern Caucasian tribes, but since many valuable works have been given before the Russian invasion and domination of the Northern Caucasian in this article, the situation of the Karachi-Malkar Turks is attempted to be identified and evaluated in the process of the Russian domination of the Northern Caucasian.
Şine Usu inscription, which remained from the steppe Uighurs, is more voluminous than other Uighur inscriptions in terms its number of lines. The inscription, which was erected by M’o-yen-ch’o in 759-760, is today in the area of Mogoyn Sine Us in north-west Mongolia. This inscription, like other Old Turkic inscriptions, has many place names in it. It has been ascertained that some place names in the inscription derived from animal names. In this article, we shall lay emphasis on the names Arkar başı (South face line 1), Sukak yulı (South face line 11), Şıp (~Sıp) başı (east face lines 3 and 4), Taygan köl (South face line 3). The place names given will be studied alphabetically in terms of their etymology, which will enable identifying the location of the places. An attempt will also be made whether studied place names have been used in Asia Minor and Turkic world.
