Abstract:

The aim of this study is to study the impact of the state of doing sports on the level of moral maturity in individuals. As a data collection tool in the study, the "moral maturity scale" developed by Shengün and Kaya (2007) was used. The scale consists of 66 questions. In the selection of the sample of the study, the developmental (rastgele) sample selection method was used. The survey was shared on social media and watsapp network groups. A total of 144 people participated. The SPSS 21 package program was used to analyze the data obtained. According to the results obtained after the "normality test" was carried out in the analysis of variables; "one-way anova" "independent sample t" and "touch test" were applied. Five different H0 and H1 hypotheses have been established and tested before the study. According to the study, in two of the five variables, a significant third of the study found meaningless differences.
