Abstract:

The aim of this study is to develop a valid and reliable measurement tool to determine the level of organizational peace in schools. The research work group is made up of teachers working in the province of Sanlıurfa in the 2020-2021 educational year. At the stage of the study of the structural validity of the measurement with the Opening Factor Analysis (AFA), 622, data from 1174 teachers were provided at the verifying Factor Analysis (DFA) stage in order to verify the factor structures. The AFA resulted in a structure consisting of 27 matters and four factors (balance, leadership, policies, environment). The total variance revealed by the scale is estimated at 53.525%. According to the AFA, the factor load values of measurement substances were between 0.370 and 0.857, while the corrected substance-collective correlation was between 0.367 and 0.847 It is also confirmed by the DFA that measures the four-factor structure of the measurement. For the reliability of the measurement, the Cronbach Alpha internal consistency ratio, the total correlations of the substance and layer alpha values were considered. The Cronbach Alpha values are calculated as 0.931, 0.923, 0.651, 0.758 for the factors respectively and the layer alpha values for the entire scale as 0.95. The equivalent scale used to determine the measurement validity of the measurement, the two scales were determined to have a statistically meaningful relationship in a positive direction (r=0.889, p<0.01). Furthermore, the aggregation analysis was carried out to create the cutting point of the scale, the three groups identified were called "positive peace", "negative peace", "organic struggle". All the validity and reliability analysis results have shown that the Organizational Peace Scale in the School can be used as a valid and reliable measurement tool in the studies in which teachers will be determined as a sample.
