Bazı müfessir ve dil bilimciler, eserlerinde sahih olarak kabul görmüş ve kıraat-ı seb‘a diye ifade edilen kıraatlere eleştirel yaklaşmışlardır. Kıraatlere eleştirel yaklaşmanın temelinde, Basra ve Kûfe dil ekollerinin Arap dilinin kurallarını belirlemede izledikleri farklı yöntemlerin etkisi yatmaktadır. Basra ekolüne mensup âlimler literatürde sahih olarak kabul edilen bazı kıraatler için dil kurallarına uymadığı gerekçesiyle lahn yakıştırması yapmış ve bazılarını da dilsel birtakım nedenlerden dolayı zayıf veya merdut görmüşlerdir. Basralı âlimlerin eleştirdiği kıraatlerden biri de İbn Amir kıraatidir. Söz konusu ekole mensup âlimler, sahih nakille gelen kıraatler konusunda hataya düşmemek için zamanla, uydukları dil kurallarında ya revize yoluna gitmişler ya da belirledikleri kurallara aykırı görülen kıraatler için tevilde bulunmuşlardır. Söz konusu âlimlerin sahih kıraatlerle ilgili sergiledikleri bu tutumlar, kendi dönemlerindeki veya onlardan sonra gelen bazı âlimlerin eleştirisine maruz kalmıştır. Bu çalışmada, Basra dil ekolü öncülerinin ve bu ekolün görüşlerini benimseyen âlimlerin sahih kıraatler konusunda sergiledikleri eleştirel yaklaşımın nedenleri üzerinde durulacaktır. Ayrıca bu âlimlerin tutumunu eleştiren başka âlimlerin görüşlerine de yer verilecektir.
Some professors and linguistic scientists have been recognised as authentic in their works and have critically approached the breaks expressed as ‘sabb’s breaks. On the basis of the critical approach to the curates, the influence of the different methods that Basra and Kûfe languages follow in determining the rules of the Arabic language lies. Those who belonged to the Basra Ecole had made a disguise because they did not comply with the rules of the language for some currents that were considered authentic in literature, and some of them had been seen as weak or scary for a number of language reasons. One of the critics of the Basral allies is Ibn Amir. In this study, we will focus on the reasons for the critical approach that the Basra language editorials and the scientists who adopt the opinions of this editorials show about the real breaks. They will also be able to see the other people who are critical of their behavior.
A certain number of mufassirs (commentators) and linguists have taken a critical approach to the seven widely accepted authentic qiraats (recitations) available for the Quran. In fact, such critical approaches are attributed to the impact of the various methods developed by Basra and Kufe Schools upon determining the rules of Arabic language. Scholars representing the Basra School not only have dismissed some of the recitations recognised to be authentic in the literature as lahn (alteration or mistakes in qiraat) given that they do not conform to the grammar rules of Arabic, but they also have judged some others as weak and condemnable for linguistic reasons. Hence, these scholars either revised the grammar rules that they had been accustomed to following in order not to make mistakes about the qiraats authenticated by the traditions of the Prophet or simply had to interpret the noncompliant qiraats according to their own way. This attitude of theirs was criticised by both their contemporary scholars and those succeeding them. The present study aims to discuss the reasons why pioneers of the Basra School and their followers have taken critical approaches towards the authentic qiraats and discuss the views of the scholars who have criticised this attitude.
