Abstract:

Omer Seyfettin, who began his art life with poetry, has announced and perpetuated his name in the narrative, which is often seen as a merhale for the transition of the novel, where even a masterpiece like Halit Ziya Uşaklıgil has been challenged to make his distinction as a kind before him. It is possible to explore the cultural accumulation of Omer Seyfettin, which has given a independent identity to the Turkish story and has left the poet, speaker, and counterparts back on the plan in this regard. Many studies have been carried out, including the author's clear type of view, social criticism, use of irony, humor, and these studies provide data about the author's worldview. Similar criticism can be found in their generations. This study will discuss the criticism mentioned in the writer's texts, the concept of economy that is also linked to the irony and world view. With this reputation, the writer will focus on how the stories the writer receives are established on the economic basis and on the change of the perception of the economy in the historical line.
