Bu çalışmanın amacı, öğrencilerinin giysi tasarım eğitiminin e-öğrenme ile verilmesi hakkındaki bakış açılarını belirlemektir. Nitel araştırma yönteminin kullanıldığı çalışmanın materyalini T.C. Şişli Meslek Yüksekokulu Moda Tasarımı Programında eğitim görmekte olan 111 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Veriler, araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilmiş anket formu ile toplanmıştır. Öğrencilerin; giysi tasarım eğitiminin e-öğrenmeyle verilmesi, e-öğrenmenin giysi tasarım eğitiminde faydalı olacağını düşündükleri dersler ve bilgisayar destekli giysi çizim teknikleri ders kaynaklarına ulaşımları hakkındaki başlıklardan oluşan ifadelere, katılım likert derecelemeler ile gerçekleşmiştir. Araştırma bulgularına göre, öğrencilerin giysi tasarım eğitiminin e-öğrenme ile verilmesine pozitif anlamda katılım göstermişlerdir. Öğrenciler, e-öğrenmenin günümüzde bir gereklilik olduğuna (x̄: 4,36); bireysel öğrenmeyi desteklediğini (x̄: 4,41), kaynaklara istenilen anda ulaşmanın faydalı olacağına (x̄: 4,36); örgün eğitim dışında kalmış bireylere eğitimde fırsat eşitliği (x̄: 4,43) ve online anlatımlı videoların öğrenmeye katkı sağlayacağına yüksek düzeyde katılmaktadırlar (x̄: 4,12). Öğrenciler; giysi tasarımında Türkçe bir e-öğrenme platformunu ihtiyaç olarak görmekte (x̄: 4,25); e-öğrenmenin bilgisayar destekli giysi tasarımı, artistik çizim gibi birçok derse faydalı olacağını düşünmektedirler. (x̄: 4,12). Ancak tüm pozitif görüşlere rağmen anında kontrol ve dönüt alamamayı eksiklik olarak görmektedirler (x̄: 3,79). Çalışma ile öğrencilerin, alanlarında yeterli Türkçe kaynak bulamadıkları ve dil farklılıklarının yabancı eğitim kaynaklarına erişimlerini engellediği; çözüm olarak giysi tasarım eğitiminde bir e-öğretim platformuna ihtiyaç olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.
The aim of this study is to determine the perspectives of the students’ training in clothing design through e-learning. The material of the research method used by T.C. The School of Fashion Design has formed 111 students who are studying in the Fashion Design Program. The data was collected with the survey form developed by the researchers. Students; giving the costume design training by e-learning, the courses they think the e-learning will be useful in the costume design training, and the computing-backed costume drawing techniques to the courses to the topics of their transportation to the resources, participation took place with liquid scores. According to the research findings, students have been positively involved in giving clothing design training through e-learning. Students participate at a high level in the fact that e-learning is a necessity today (x̄: 4,36); that it supports individual learning (x̄: 4,41); that it will be useful to access resources at the desired time (x̄: 4,36); that equal opportunities in education (x̄: 4,43) for individuals who remain outside the daily education and that online-telling videos will contribute to learning (x̄: 4,12). Students see a Turkish e-learning platform as a need in clothing design (x̄: 4,25); they think e-learning will be useful in many lessons such as computer-supported clothing design, artistic drawing. The number is 4.12). However, despite all the positive opinions, they see the absence of immediate control and reversal (x̄: 3,79). The study has concluded that students cannot find sufficient Turkish resources in their fields and that language differences prevent access to foreign educational resources; as a solution, we need an e-learning platform in clothing design training.
The aim of this study is to determine the perspectives of students about teaching clothing design education via e-learning. In the study which survey method was used a study sample consisting of 111 students studying at Şişli Vocational School Fashion Design Program was formed. The data were collected with a survey developed by the researchers. Students participations were expressed with likert rankings in the consisting titles: providing clothing design teaching with e-learning, subjects that they think e-learning will be useful in clothing design education and their accessibility to computer-aided clothing drawing techniques course resources. According to the findings, students participated positively in the teaching of clothing design education via e-learning. Students agree that, today e-learning is a requirement (x̄: 4.36); that it supports individual learning (x̄: 4.41), that it will be useful to access resources at any time (x̄: 4.36), that supports equal opportunity in education to those individuals who are out of formal education (x̄: 4.43) and that online videos will contribute to learning (x̄: 4,12). Students; perceive a Turkish e-learning platform as a necessity in clothing design (x̄: 4,25); they think that e-learning will be useful for many courses (x̄: 4.12). However, despite all positive opinions, they see the lack of instant control and feedback as a deficiency (x̄: 3.79). Study shows that students could not find sufficient Turkish resources in their field and language differences prevent them from accessing foreign education resources; it was concluded that an e-learning platform is needed in garment design education as a solution.
