Abstract The essay aims to think of early childhood education as a privileged educational territory-candomblé yard recognizing as urgent and necessary the questioning of epistemic racism during the geopolitics of colonial knowledge and its processes of coloniality in the fields of knowledge, of being and power. As individuals of the experience in dialogues with decolonial thought and contemporary authors who discuss Brazilianness, it is considered that the epistemes from macumba, understood as a multiple bundle of afrodiasporic cultural practices, such as the capoeiras and the candomblés, can, as analytical powers, mobilize and expand the borders and educational grammars of new generations, in an inclusive and anti-racist perspective, in line with the propositions of the National Curriculum Guidelines for Early Childhood Education and Law 10.639/2003.
