Abstract:

The aim of this study is to study the impact of behavioral finance practices on the performance of. Method - The methodology section of this study has preferred the quantitative method that analyzes the cause-resultation relationship. Previously, research data have been collected on proven scales of reliability using many research. Through the surveys, the data provided from the participants was analysed by frequency, reliability, correlation, regression and differentiation. The universe of the study is 17376 people working in a total of 2552 companies operating in the production and service sector in the Istanbul Hadımköy Atatürk Organized Industrial Area, and the sample determination table has been used to survey a total of 557 people in 95% confidence range. According to the results of the Regression Analysis, behavioral investments have a positive impact on “evitalization”, “business performance” by 48.4%, and “excessive optimism”, “business performance” by 59.7%. Conversation - Behavioral finance studies problems arising from the assumption that individuals do not behave rational, and while doing so also sociology, psychology, and anthropology, etc. They benefit from the science. Individuals can make wrong decisions when they are under psychological and sociological influence when making investment decisions. Therefore, behavioral finance is an area that needs to be focused on and increasing importance every day. Therefore, in this study, the study of the effects of behavioral finance on the business proform is planned to be carried out with the view that investors can strengthen their predictions in investment decisions and reduce the risks they will take.
