İnsanlık, yazıya ihtiyaç duyduğundan bu yana yazı teknikleri ve uygulamaları gelişim ve değişim göstermiştir. Yazı tekniklerini geliştiren ve üreten tasarımcılar tipografi alanına önem vermişlerdir. Dijital devrim, tipografik öğelerin inşasını ve yapısökümünü geçmişte olduğundan daha kolay hale getirmiştir. Çoklu olanakları olan teknolojiyi benimseyen font tasarımcıları, giderek daha karmaşık tipografik deneyler gerçekleştirebilmişlerdir. Bu dönemde tasarımcıların, tasarımlarında farklılıklar görülse de “font tasarımı” ve “tipografi” ile yapılan tasarımlar daha anlamlı ve algılanabilir bir hal almıştır. Bu tasarımcılardan Neville Brody çağdaş grafik tasarım örnekleri veren yazı tiplerini yaratmıştır.Postmodernist bir yaklaşımla tasarım yapan Neville Brody, tipografi kullanımını görsel kullanımından ayrı tutmayan bir tasarım anlayışıyla tasarımlarına duygusal ifade kazandırmıştır. Bu makalede; tipografinin genel çerçevesi hakkında bilgi verilmiş kariyeri boyunca çok sayıda yazı tipi üretmiş Neville Brody’nin tipografiye ve font tasarımına yaklaşımı değerlendirilmiştir.
Since humanity has been in need of writing, writing techniques and practices have evolved and changed. Designers developing and producing writing techniques have focused on the field of typography. The digital revolution has made the construction and structure of typographic elements easier than they were in the past. The font designers who adopted the technology with multiple possibilities have been able to carry out more and more complex typographical experiments. During this period, designers have seen differences in their designs, but the designs made with "font design" and "tipography" have become more meaningful and perceptible. From these designers, Neville Brody has created text types that give examples of contemporary graphic design. Neville Brody, who designed with a postmodernist approach, has given his designs an emotional expression with a design sense that does not keep typography using from visual use. This article evaluates the approach to typography and font design by Neville Brody, who has produced a large number of fonts throughout his career, informed about the general framework of typography.

In this article; Neville Brody, who has produced many fonts throughout his career, has been informed about the general framework of typography, and his approach to typography and font design is evaluated.
