The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of virtual museum activities on the historical consciousness of fourth-grade students in primary schools. The study was conducted in this manner using a quasi-experimental design with pretest-posttest experimental and control groups. The study group consisted of 84 students who attended a primary school in Istanbul's Zeytinburnu district and were chosen using an easily accessible sampling method. There are 43 students in the control group and 41 students in the experimental group in the study group. The experimental group students received the program, which included virtual museum activities, while the control group students received no application activities. The researcher's "Early History Awareness Questionnaire" was used to collect data for the study. The t-test technique was used to analyze the data obtained from the questionnaire for related and unrelated samples. According to the study's findings, while there was no significant difference between the experimental and control groups' early history awareness pre-test scores, there was a significant difference between the post-test scores in favor of the experimental group. When these findings are considered, it is possible to conclude that the virtual museum activities used with the experimental group contribute to the development of historical consciousness in students.
