In hospitals where high technology and human resources are used intensively, the costs are increasing daily, and the effective and efficient use of resources is becoming more important daily. In this context, the efficiency of 17 branches in a state hospital operating in Turkey was analyzed using the DEA method with input-oriented CCR and BCC models. The most up-to-date data of 2021 were used in the study. R Studio package programs were used to analyze the data in the study. Number of doctors, number of nurses, number of patients admitted and number of beds were used as input variables, number of inpatients and bed occupancy rate were used as output variables. As a result of the research, 9 branches from 17 branches according to the CCR model and 11 branches according to the BCC model were determined as effective. In addition, when the scale efficiency of the branches is examined, it is seen that 6 branches have increasing, 2 branches decreasing and 9 branches have constant returns to scale. Finally, it is seen that the branch with the highest efficiency level among the branches that were determined to be effective is the Physical Therapy branch.
