Abstract:

While the concept of organizational imprisonment provides a very important input in the name of positive individual and organizational outcomes, it has greater importance in the health sector, especially where pro-social behaviors are important. In this context, the current study aims to identify the impact of organizational punishment on health workers on organizational opposition. In the study, the survey technique was used and the data was obtained through face-to-face interviews through simple random sampling from 375 staff working in the health institutions operating in Konya Illi. The results of the study found the established hypotheses as supportive and showed the positive impact of organizational imprisonment on organizational opposition. Furthermore, it has been observed that organizational imprisonment has a negative impact on the open opposition, which is the underdimensional of the opposition, and a positive impact on the secret opposition. This study is estimated to have achieved significant achievements in the field of both organizational behavior and health management in order to provide theoretical infrastructure on organizational imprisonment and to contribute to literature with the practical analysis of the relationship with organizational opposition.
