Abstract:

Eldeki veriler, son yıllarda tarımsal üretim faaliyetlerinde kadınların katılımında bir artış olduğunu göstermekte. Bu değişim tohumdan hasada kadar üretimin her aşamasında görülmekte. Kadınların üretimde artan katılımlarına rağmen, hala kadın emeği karşılığını bulamamakta, kadınlar ücretsiz aile işçisi olarak her tür sosyal güvenlik hakkından yoksun kalmaktadır. Bu çalışma 1980 sonrası dönemde tarımsal dönüşüm ve tarımda kadın emek gücü arasındaki ilişkiyi inceliyor. Çalışma, kadının evde güvencesiz ev işçisi, tarlada da güvencesiz tarım işçisi olarak çalışmasının, 1980ler sonrası küçük ve orta boy aile işletmelerini yoksulluğa iten politikaların bir yansıması olarak gözlenmesi gerektiğini iddia ediyor
