Bu araştırmada ile okul öncesi eğitime devam eden 60-72 aylık çocukların ebeveynlerinin fene ve okul öncesi dönemde fen etkinliklerine ilgi düzeyleri ve bu ilginin bağımsız değişkenler açısından anlamlı bir farklılık oluşturup oluşturmadığının belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini 2018-2019 eğitim öğretim yılında Elazığ ili Merkez MEB’e bağlı resmi bağımsız anaokullarından tesadüfî olarak seçilen 60-72 aylık çocukların ebeveynleri olmak üzere toplam 302 ebeveyn oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma da veri toplama aracı olarak, “Ebeveynlerin, Fene ve Okul Öncesinde Fen Etkinliklerine Yönelik Görüşleri Ölçeği (EFOFGÖ)” ve araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan “Sosyo-Demografik Bilgi Formu” kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda ebeveynlerin eğitim durumlarına ve fene olan ilgilerine göre ebeveynlerin fene ve okul öncesi dönem fen etkinliklerine yönelik görüşlerinin değiştiği belirlenmiştir.

Abstract:

This study aimed at determining whether 60-72 months of children who continue pre-school education have their parents interest levels in science activities in the pre-school and pre-school period and whether this interest creates a significant difference in terms of independent variables. The sample of the study is made up of a total of 302 parents, including the parents of 60-72 months old children randomly selected from the official independent kindergartens associated with Elazığ or Central MEB in the 2018-2019 educational year. The research has also been used as a data collection tool, "The Scale of Parents' Opinions on Scientific Events in the Fene and Pre-School (EFOFGÖ)" and the "Socio-Demographic Information Form" prepared by researchers. The study found that according to the educational situation and interests of the parents, the opinions of the parents on the educational and pre-school scientific activities have changed.
