Yabancı dil öğrenme ihtiyacı kültürel etkileşim sonucu siyasi, askeri, ticari ve/veya turistik nedenlerle hâsıl olmuş olup, günümüzde de hızla artmaktadır. Yabancı dil öğrenme sürecinde karşılaşılan zorluklar; ana dil ile hedef dil arasındaki kültürel boyut, dil yapısında olan benzerlik ve/ veya uyuşmazlıklar bu süreci etkileyen faktörler arasındadır. Bu bağlamda öğrenen gruplarının kültürel arka planı, hedef dilin özellikleri ve ana dil ile hedef dil arasındaki farklılıklar öne çıkan değişkenlerden ve öğrenmeyi etkileyen faktörlerdendir. Bununla birlikte dil öğrenme sürecinde kullanılan yöntem ve teknikler de büyük önem taşımaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye’de yükseköğrenim gören Arap öğrencilerin karşılaştıkları “dil sorunları” ile ilgili görüş ve çözüm önerilerini ortaya koymaktır. Dil öğrenim sürecinde, Türkçenin farklı cümle yapısı, bazı harflerin telaffuzu, birçok aksanın bulunması gibi sorunların yanı sıra dil öğreniminde, dilbilgisi odaklı bir öğretimin benimsenmesi, uyum ve katılım gibi bir dizi farklı sorun bulunmaktadır. Söz konusu sorunların daha net anlaşılabilmesi açısından gerek “kültür” gerekse “Arapça-Türkçe dil çiftinin farklı yapıları” karşılaştırılmalı olarak incelenmiştir. Araştırma, sorunların önem durumuna göre; “dillerin yapısal farklılıkları”, “eğitmenin dil öğretimi sürecinde izlediği metot” ve “öğrencinin kendisinden kaynaklandığı sorunlar” olmak üzere üç ana başlık altında değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma neticesinde, dillerin farklılığından kaynaklanan temel sorunların ses bilgisi, biçim bilgisi, biçem bilgisi (üslup) ve semantik gibi bazı konulardan kaynaklandığı yönündeki bulgu ve saptamalarda bulunularak çeşitli çözüm önerileri sunulmuştur. Ayrıca dil eğitmeninin, kullanılan materyalin ve kaynakların öğrenim sürecindeki etkisi ve rolü belirlendikten sonra öğrenci kaynaklı sorunlara çözüm önerileriyle birlikte yer verilmiştir.
The need to learn a foreign language has been caused by political, military, commercial and/or tourist reasons as a result of cultural interaction and is rapidly increasing today. The difficulties faced in the learning process of a foreign language are the cultural dimension between the main language and the target language, the similarities in the language structure and/or disputes among the factors affecting this process. In this context, the cultural background of the learning groups, the characteristics of the target language and the differences between the main language and the target language are among the prominent variables and factors affecting learning. However, the methods and techniques used in the language learning process are also of great importance. The aim of this study is to present opinions and solutions on the "language problems" that Arab students who are studying in Turkey face. In the language learning process, there are a number of different problems such as the different phrase structure of Turkish, the pronunciation of some letters, the existence of many acts, as well as in language learning, the adoption of a language-focused teaching, compliance and participation. In terms of more clear understanding of the issues, it is necessary to compare the "cultural" and "different structures of the Arabic-Turkish language pair". According to the importance of the problems, the research was evaluated under three main titles: "Structural differences in languages", "the method the teacher follows in the language teaching process" and "the problems the student arises from himself". As a result of the research, various solutions were presented by finding findings and findings that the basic problems arising from the differences of languages arise from some topics such as voice knowledge, form knowledge, form knowledge and semantics. Also, after the influence and role of the language teacher, the materials and resources used in the learning process were determined, it was presented along with suggestions for solutions to the problem of the student's source.
