Bu çalışma otel işletmelerinde örgütsel değişim algısı ile iş güvencesizliği ilişkisini ele alarak, bu ilişkinin şiddetini azaltmada lider-üye etkileşiminin ne derece aracı rol üstlendiğini sorgulamaktadır. Çalışma kapsamında hazırlanan anket formu, Alanya’da faaliyet gösteren otel işletmeleri çalışanlarına uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen istatistiki veriler sonucunda, değişkenlerarası ilişkilerden yola çıkılarak oluşturulan yapısal eşitlik modelini test etmek amacıyla geliştirilen üç araştırma hipotezinin tamamı kabul edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular, otel işletmelerinde çalışanların örgütsel değişime yönelik algılarının olumsuz, iş güvencesizliği algılarının yüksek, lider-üye etkileşiminin ise orta düzeyde olduğunu göstermektedir. Yine yüksek düzeyde örgütsel değişim kaygısının iş güvencesizliğini tetiklediği, ancak bu olumsuz etkinin şiddetini azaltmada lider-üye etkileşimi düzeyinin kısmi aracılık rolü üstlendiği tespit edilmiştir.

This study examines the relation between organizational change perception and job insecurity in hotel businesses and questions what extent leader-member exchange plays a mediating role in decreasing the effect of this relationship. The questionnaire developed in the scope of this study was applied to the employees of hotel businesses in Alanya. 3 hypotheses developed to test the structural equation model developed based on the relations between variables were all accepted due to the statistical data reached. The findings indicate that employees’ perceptions of organizational change are negative, their perceptions of job insecurity are high, and leader – member exchange is in medium level. It was also determined that high levels of anxiety about organizational change triggered job insecurity, however, leader – member exchange played a partial mediating role in decreasing the strength of this negative impact.
