85 primary supervisors and deputy supervisors’ ideas about their career development in term of self evaluation was elicited by self-deviced questionnaire which was designed in three categories. Statistical analysis was as mean scores, standard deviations,T test and Variance analysis were undertaken. Primary supervisors and deputy supervisors expressed that they have no time for their professional development, disagree with the limitation of age to enter to supervision. They agree that eight years of experience is necessary for starting supervision post. All these ideas were seen as differ according to the sex, the type of the post, experience and education. Some reccomendations were produced based on the results of the research. Key Words : Primary education, supervisors, career development
