Bu çalışmada, Erken Tunç Dönemi’ne tarihlendirilen Resuloğlu topluluğu-nun dişleri odontometrik yöntemlerle incelenerek Eski Anadolu iskelet top-luluklarıyla karşılaştırılmıştır. Araştırma, Çorum ilinin Uğurludağ ilçesinde gün ışığına çıkarılan Resuloğlu topluluğuna ait 1241 daimi diş üzerinde ger-çekleştirilmiştir. İncelenen dişlerin 643’ü kadın, 501’i erkek bireylere aittir.
In this study, the teeth of the Prophet's community, dated to the Early Tunch Period, were compared with the Old Anadolu skeletal balls by examining with odontometric methods. The study was carried out on the 1241 permanent teeth of the Prophet's community, which was brought to the light of the day in the Uğurludağ district of Chorum. Of the examined teeth, 643 are female and 501 male. The remaining 97 teeth are not identified in the isolated group of teeth. The teeth were taken in two measurements: bucca-lingual (BL) width and mesio-distal (MD) length. Starting from these measurements, the tooth index is calculated as well as "the total crown area," "the crown area of the burning teeth" and "the crown area of the front teeth". Analysis has shown that there is no significant statistical difference between the ta-raps (right-left) in the dimension of the teeth. The teeth size of the Prophet's community is greater than the Teeth (Neolithic), Alaca-High (Calcolitic) and Maşathöyük (Tunch Age), Panaztepe (Mid-Tunch Age) and Norşuntepe (Demirçağ) communities. Our comparative studies have shown that the dimensions of the teeth in Anatolia have been relatively minor during the Neolithic, Calcolic and Tune Age, and the tendency to decline has accelerated during the Iron Age and later.
