This study is an attempt to determine “time spent” in managerial decisions and the process of decision making in managers’ point of view. The participants are consisted of the managers of corporations and governmental organizations in Gumushane and Bayburt. The study presents the perceptions of the managers’s lenght of time in recognizing the problem, defining the problem, solving the problem,and decision making in various circumstances. The variables are correlated with demographic features namely, the sector worked in ,educational status, the managerial position, gender, age, vocational experince, and the area of sectoral activity
