Eğitim fakültesi öğrencilerinin meslek öncesi öğretmen kimliklerini belirlemek öğretmen geliştirmeye ve öğretmen yetiştirme kurumlarındaki uygulamalara katkı sağlayabilir. Bu nedenle, çalışmanın temel amacı eğitim fakültesindeki öğrencilerin meslek öncesi öğretmen kimliklerini belirleyebilmek için Türkçe’ye bir ölçek uyarlamaktır. Çalışma verileri Gaziantep Üniversitesi, Eğitim Fakültesinde farklı bölümlere devam eden 449 öğrencinin oluşturduğu örneklemden toplanarak elde edilmiştir. Uyarlama çalışması için Meslek Öncesi Öğretmen Kimliği Ölçeği (Friesen &Besley, 2013) kullanılmıştır. Ölçek uyarlama çalışması için gerekli olan tüm çeviri ve dil eşdeğerliliği çalışmaları tamamlandıktan sonra, Meslek Öncesi Öğretmen Kimliği Ölçeğinin psikometrik özelliklerini incelemek için açımlayıcı ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizleri uygulanmıştır. Uyarlama aşaması kapsamında gerçekleştirilen diğer çalışmalar iki-yarı güvenilirliği, test-tekrar test güvenilirlik katsayısı, alt-üst %27’lik grupların ortalamalarının karşılaştırılması ile elde edilen madde ayırt ediciliği analizi ve dış ölçüt bağıntılı geçerlilik analizlerini içermektedir. Sonuç olarak, Türkçe’ ye uyarlanan Meslek Öncesi Öğretmen Kimliği Ölçeğinin bir başka kültüre uyarlanan bir ölçeğin gerekli tüm özelliklerini taşıdığını ve ölçekten elde edilen toplam puanın “Meslek Öncesi Öğretmen Kimliği Puanı” olarak kullanılabileceğini göstermiştir
Determining the pre-professional teacher identities of the educational faculty students can contribute to the development of teachers and the practices in teaching institutions. Therefore, the main purpose of the study is to adapt a scale to Turkey to determine the pre-professional teacher identities of students in the educational faculty. The study data was obtained by collecting the sample of 449 students on the Faculty of Education of Gaziantep. The Pre-Professional Teacher Identity Scale (Friesen & Besley, 2013) was used for the adaptation study. After the completion of all the translation and language equivalence studies required for the scale adaptation study, the psychometric characteristics of the Pre-Professional Teacher Identity Scale are being applied with disclaimer and verifying factor analysis. Other studies carried out within the adjustment phase include two-and-half reliability, test-up test reliability ratio, substance differentiability analysis obtained by comparison of the average of the groups of 27% below and external measurement-related validity analysis. As a result, it has shown that the Pre-Professional Teacher Identity Scale adapted to Turkey carries all the necessary characteristics of a scale adapted to another culture and that the total score obtained from the scale can be used as "Pre-Professional Teacher Identity Scale".
