The aspect that separates man from other beings and makes him responsible is his ability to be educated. Ability to know and to produce knowledge in human nature and his superiority over other beings is mentioned in the Qur’an as follows: “And He taught Adam the names of all things; then He placed them before the angels, and said: "Tell me the names of these if ye are right." They said: "Glory to Thee, of knowledge We have none, save what Thou Hast taught us: In truth it is Thou Who art perfect in knowledge and wisdom."” (Baqara, 2/31-32) Education is the most auspicious goal for human being, which is the worthy of being tired and suffering. Since the quality of learning exists with being, a duty of the prophets is to deal with the education of people. The prophet is responsible for delivering people the divine message of God, as in all matters, the prophet was qualified as the most beautiful example in education and training. His words, actions, statements, life, morality, relations with people and perspective, each filled with an abundant set of values, provide a general framework of the methods applicable in religious education and training. The methods used by the prophet in education are very important in religious education. The methods employed by Prophet Mohammed for the purpose of education can be listed as notifying, narrating, representation, repetition, heralding-warning and recevating. In short, Prophet Mohammed attached great importance to human education. On the other hand, it can be noted that Prophet Mohammed applied the first examples of many current principles and methods offered to us by educational sciences in the modern era.
