Hâricîliğin yaşayan tek kolu olarak görülen ve bugün Uman Sultanlığı’nın resmi mezhebi olan İbâzıyye, halen çok sayıda müntesibi olan mezheplerden biridir. Hâricîlikten ayrılmış bir kol ol-duğu şeklindeki yaygın kabulün aksine bu mezhep, Hâricî karakteri yansıtan belli başlı fikir ve uygulamaları benimsememekte ve Hâricî adıyla anılmaktan rahatsızlık duymaktadır. Bu yönüyle İbâzıyye keşfedilmeyi bekleyen bir mezhep olarak karşımızda durmaktadır. Bu çalışmada İbâzıyye’yi kendi kaynakları üzerinden tanımak ve yeni çalışmalara öncülük etmek amacıyla, ül-kemizde henüz hakkında çalışma bulunmayan, h. 6. yy. İbâzıyyesi’nin önde gelen isimlerinden Ebû Ya’kûb Yûsuf b. İbrâhîm es-Sedrâtî el-Vercelânî’nin (ö. 570/1175) ed-Delîl ve’l-burhân li-ehli’l-ʿuḳûl isimli eseri esas alınarak itikâdî, siyasî ve toplumsal görüşleri öne çıkarılmıştır. Bu bağlamda Vercelânî’nin iman, büyük günah, velâyet-berâet, sıfatlar, şefaat, ru’yetullah, va‘d-vaîd, halku’l-Kur’ân ve kabir azabı gibi itikâdî konulardaki görüşleri, dört halife ile ilgili beyanlarını içeren siyasi fikirleri ve ümmetin afetleri şeklinde yer verdiği toplumsal görüşleri konu edinilmiş, İbâzıyye’nin temel görüşleri ve dönemin İbâzî gündemi bu mezhebe mensup bir âlimin gözünden ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır.
Ibāṭīya, which is considered as the only living branch of the Khārijism and the official sect of the Sultanate of Oman today, is still one of the sects have a large number of followers. In contrast to the widespread opinion as being a separate branch of Khārijism, this sect does not adopt the major acts that represent the Khārijite character and refuses to be referred to as Khārijite. In this respect, Ibāḍīyya is a sect waiting to be discovered. This study, with the aim of recognizing Ibāḍīyya through their own sources and leading to new works, is based on one of the prominent names of the 6th century A.H., Abū Ya'qūb Yūsuf b. Ibrāhīm al-Sadrātī al-Warjalānī (d. 570/1175) who has not been studied yet in Turkey, and his work al-Dalīl wa'l-burhān li-Ahl al-'Uqūl. In this context, it is discussed that Warjalānī's theological opinions on theological issues such as faith, great sin, walāya-barā, divine attributes, intercession, seeing God, wa'd-wa'īd, the creation of the Qur'ān and grave punishment, political opinions which included his statements about the four caliphs and the social views that he stated under the title of "disasters of the Ummah". In this way, it is tried to put forward the basic views of Ibāḍīya and its agenda of the period by emphasizing its views.
