The aim of this study is to determine the effects of Interactive Teaching Method in accordance with traditional instruction method on student success in terms of change of state and to search the effects of this method on attitudes toward Science and Technology course. Quasi experimental design was used in this research.This study has been performed with 40 students in 4th grades in 2011-2012 academic year. There were 21 students in control group and 19 students in experimental group.Structured-based approach was used in control group and Interactive Teaching Method has been used in experimental group. The achievement test, prepared for recognizing object, and the attitudes towards Science&Technology scale have been applied as collecting of data. Data has been analyzed with SPSS program. It has been found that the Interactive Teaching Method made the success higher meaningfully than the Structured-Based Approach but it didn’t cause any meaningful differences at the attitudes towards science.At the end of the research, it has been observed that there were higher positive attitudes than the beginning but there wasn’t a meaningful difference in attitudes towards science according to sex in Interactive Teaching Method group.
