ÖRGÜTSEL SİNİZM: SATIŞ PERSONELİ ÜZERİNE NİTEL BİR ARAŞTIRMA

Abstract:

Çalışmanın amacı, satış personelinin örgütüne ve satış departmanına karşı algıladığı örgütsel sinizm boyutlarının nedenlerini araştırmaktır. Derinlemesine görüşme tekniği araştırmanın veri kaynağını oluşturmaktadır. Erdost, Karacaoğlu ve Reyhanoğlu (2007); Brandes (1997); Brandes, Dharwadkar ve Dean (1999)’nin örgütsel sinizm çalışmalarından yararlanılarak görüşme soruları oluşturulmuştur. Bu doğrultuda, hızlı tüketim ürünleri satış personeli, araştırmanın örneklemini kapsamaktadır. Araştırmanın analizi, Nvivo 11 Plus nitel araştırma programı ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma verilerinin analizinde içerik analizi kullanılmıştır. Bu doğrultuda, satış personelinin algıladığı örgütsel sinizm boyutlarından öne çıkan boyut/ alt boyutlar gruplandırılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgularda, satış personelinde örgütsel sinizmin duygusal boyutta öne çıktığı belirlenmiştir. Bilişsel sinizm boyutunun etkisinin az görüldüğü tespit edilmiştir. Davranışsal sinizm boyutun ise, tüm katılımcıların işle ilgili olumsuz durumlarının davranışlarına yansıdığı belirlenmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına eklenen yeni temalar ise, adalet algısı, örgüt içi iletişim, kariyer beklentisi, yönetici baskısı-belirsizlik, kişilik özellikleri ve örgüt kültürüdür. Bu temaların örgütsel sinizmin oluşmasına neden olabilecek yeni temalar olarak tespit edilmiştir.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the causes of organizational cynicism perceived by the sales personnel towards the organization and department according to the three dimensions of organizational cynicism; emotional, cognitive, and behavioral components. The in-depth interview technique is used the data collection method of this research. Erdost,Karacaoğlu and Reyhanoğlu (2007), Brandes (1997), Brandes,Dharwadkar and Dean (1999),used the organizational cynicism studies, and they are used in the preparation of semi-open-ended interview questions. In this context, in several sectors such as health, fast-moving consumer goods, and food that salesperson who works with the customers individually constitutes the research sample of the study. The data obtained from the depth interviews were analyzed using "content analysis" as a sub-branch of Qualitative Data Analysis through Nvivo 11 Plus Qualitative Data Analysis Software (Miles and Huberman, 1994) According to the research results, the new categories are added such as, justice perception, communication within the organization, career expectation, manager pressure, personality characteristics, and corporate culture.  It was determined that these categories constitute new dimensions of organizational cynicism
