Munīb Efendi (1854-1925) went to Istanbul after completing her education in Azhar, where he met the Ottoman scholars in Meşihat and started to work as a member in the commission of the Tedkîk-i Müellefât Meclisi. This during his mission, Tevfik Efendi who was educated in the Ottoman hierarchy of the intelligentsia, asked to Munīb Efendi write treatise about imitation (taqlīd). Munīb Efendi, who responded positively to this request, wrote her treatise in an atmosphere where there were efforts to codify Islamic Law in the Ottoman Empire. and discussions on whether or not to make use of different schools (madhhab) in these laws. His treatise under the title of the conditions of imitation contains the issues of the practice with a weak opinion (‘amal bi’d-da’if) and school boundary-crossing (intiqal), pragmatic eclecticism (tatabbu‘ al-rukhas), and talfīq. Munīb Efendi, who accepted the imitation of different schools and pragmatic eclecticism (tatabbu‘ al-rukhas), allowed talfīq as long as he did not oppose the consensus (ijmā‘). In this study, we will make critical edition Munīb Efendi's work called Al-Qawl al-Sadīd fī Ahkām al-Taqlīd, which is during in manuscript. Although two copies of the treatise are mentioned in the manuscript catalogues, since we could not reach them, we will make this critical edition from a single copy that we can determine.
Munîb Efendi (1854-1925) went to Istanbul after completing his education in Ezher, where after meeting with the Ottoman Ulema in Meşihatt, he began his office as a chain in the Tedkîk-i Müellefât Assembly commission. During this mission, the scientist Tevfik Lord asked him to receive a resale of the imitation. Munîb Efendi, who responded positively to this request, wrote his discourse in an atmosphere where the legislation activities in the Ottoman state and the discussions about whether these laws will be adopted from different disciples. So the risale made a humble contribution to that day's discussions. This work, under the title of the conditions of the simulation, includes the subjects of the work with a weak view, interdisciplinary intical, subject to licenses and telphics. This is one of the topics discussed at that time. The simulation of the various religions, the positive minister of the issues of tetebbuu'r-ruhas, Munîb Efendi, has allowed telfike as long as it is not opposed to the Icmâya. We will see the work of the Lord of Munib, which is still in writing in this work, named El-Kavlü's-Sedîd fî Ahkâmi't-Taklîd. Although in the writings catalogs we are talking about the two niches of the archive, we will do this by one niche that we can identify because we cannot reach them.
