Bu araştırmada, Türk müziği konservatuvarlarında okutulan repertuvar dersinin edindirdiği mesleki kazanımların kapsam ve içeriğine yönelik öğrenci görüşlerine yer verilmiştir. Görüşler değerlendirilerek, repertuvar dersinin sanat eğitimindeki etkisi ve sanatçı kimliğini oluşturmadaki rolü tartışılmıştır. Ege Üniversitesi Devlet Türk Müziği Konservatuvarında 2018-2019 bahar döneminde eğitim gören öğrencilere açık uçlu sorular sorulmuş ve toplanan veriler analiz edilerek mesleki kazanımlara dair sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden görüşme tekniği benimsenmiştir. Toplanan bulgular, içerik analizi yöntemi ile irdelenmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarının bazıları, repertuvar dersinin diğer nazari ve uygulamalı derslerin içeriklerini kapsayan bir kesişim kümesi niteliğinde olduğu yönündedir. Yine bazı sonuçlar, repertuvar dersinin gelenekte uygulanan meşk yönteminin çağdaş bir uzantısı olduğunu göstermiş, notanın Türk makam müziği geleneğinde taslak olarak kabul edildiği gerçeğini bir kez daha vurgulamıştır. Bunun yanı sıra ezberlenen eser miktarının mesleki kimlik oluşumunda önemli bir kazanım olması, Türk makam müziği geleneğinde hafızanın ayırt edici özelliğini ortaya koymuştur. Kompozisyon ve yorumculuk alanlarında temel bilgi ediniminin bu ders ile sağlanması, mesleki kazanımlar arasında öne çıkan bulgulardır. Türk müziğinin dönemlerine ve bestecilerine ait temel fikirlerin şekillendiği ve edebi unsurların ders kapsamında geliştiği yönünde beyan edilen görüşler araştırmanın sonuçlarını etkilemiştir. Bulgular ışında repertuvar dersi, müzik estetiği ve icra-haz ilişkilerinin öğretim elemanı klavuzluğunda şekillendiği bir süreç olarak tanımlanmış, bu sayede öğrencilerin kişisel müzikal zevk unsurlarını oluşturdukları gözlemlenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda geleneksel meşk yönteminin repertuvar dersi kapsamında devam ettiği görülmüştür. Ayrıca usta çırak ilişkisine dayalı olarak ezber yönteminin kullanıldığı ve bu sayede repertuvarı hafızaya almanın önemsendiği sonucuna varılmıştır. Konservatuvar öğrencilerinin repertuvar dersindeki kazanımları ve mezuniyet sonrasında mesleğin icrası sürecinde yaşayacakları muhtemel olumlu/olumsuz etkiler söz konusu ders kapsamında incelenmiş ve önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
In this study, the student’s opinions on the scope and content of the professional achievements obtained by the repertoire course taught in the Turkish music conservatories were included. By evaluating the opinions, the impact of the repertoire course in art education and the role in creating the artist’s identity were discussed. At the State Turkish Music Conservatory of the University of Ege, students who studied in the 2018-2019 spring period were asked open-end questions and the data collected were analyzed and the results of professional achievements were achieved. In the study, the methods of interviewing of the quality research methods were adopted. The findings collected are combined with the method of content analysis. Some of the research results suggest that the repertoire course is a crossing set that covers the contents of other Nazari and applied courses. Again, some findings have shown that the repertoire lesson is a contemporary extension of the method of mixing applied in tradition, once more emphasizing the fact that the note is considered a draft in the tradition of Turkish official music. In addition to the fact that the quantity of the recorded work is an important achievement in the formation of professional identity, the Turkish official music tradition has shown the distinctive characteristic of memory. Providing the acquisition of basic knowledge in the fields of composition and interpretation with this course is the outcomes that stand out among the professional achievements. The views declared that the basic ideas of the periods and composers of Turkish music were formed and the literary elements developed within the course have influenced the results of the research. In the light of the findings, the repertoire course was defined as a process in which music aesthetics and executive relationships were formed in the instructor's guidelines, thus observed that students formed the personal musical pleasure elements. The research has shown that the traditional method of melting continues within the repertoire lesson. It has also been concluded that the method of memory is used based on the master's crater relationship and that therefore it is important to take the repertoire into memory. The achievements of conservative students in the repertoire course and the potential positive/negative effects they will experience in the course of the profession after graduation have been studied and proposed within the course concerned.
In this research, students’ views on the scope and content of the repertory course taught in Turkish music conservatories are included. By evaluating the opinions, the effect of the repertory course in art education and its role in forming the artist identity were discussed. Open-ended questions were asked to the students studying at the Ege University State Turkish Music Conservatory in the spring term of 2018-2019, and the collected data were analyzed to reach conclusions about professional achievements. In the study, the interview technique, one of the qualitative research methods, was adopted. The collected findings were analyzed by content analysis method. Some of the research results are that the repertory course is an intersection set that covers the contents of other theoretical and applied courses. Again, some results showed that the repertory lesson is a contemporary extension of the meşk method applied in the tradition, emphasizing once again the fact that the note is accepted as a draft in the Turkish makam music tradition. In addition, the fact that the amount of memorized pieces is an important gain in the formation of professional identity has revealed the distinctive feature of memory in the Turkish makam music tradition. Acquiring basic knowledge in the fields of composition and interpretation through this course is one of the prominent findings among professional achievements. The opinions stated that the basic ideas of the periods and composers of Turkish music were shaped and that the literary elements developed within the scope of the course affected the results of the research. In the light of the findings, the repertoire lesson was defined as a process in which musical aesthetics and performance-pleasure relations were shaped under the guidance of the instructor, and it was observed that the students formed their personal musical pleasure elements. As a result of the research, it was seen that the traditional meşk method continued within the scope of the repertory course. In addition, it was concluded that the memorization method was used based on the master-apprentice relationship and that it was important to memorize the repertoire in this way. The achievements of the conservatory students in the repertory course and the possible positive/negative effects they will experience during the practice of the profession after graduation have been examined within the scope of the said course and suggestions have been made.
