Dilenci rolü, kıyafeti, davranışı ve karakteri ile belli bir prototip sunar. Bu rolde dilencinin gerçekten ihtiyaç sahibi olup olmadığından çok bu rolü iyi bir şekilde oynamasına yarayan kıyafet, söz, tavır ve beceri gibi araçları kullanarak sergilediği imajı daha ön plandadır. Toplumda dilencinin nasıl algılandığından dilenmenin inceliklerine varıncaya kadar bir çok konuyu dikkatli bir gözlemle aktaran Reşat Nuri Güntekin, Miskinler Tekkesi adlı eserinde dilencilik olgusunu farklı bir gözle ele alır. Yazar burada, toplum içinde sıradan insanlar karşısında açık bir şekilde dilenenlerin, para, statü, makam sahibi olmak için kendilerinden daha yukarıdaki güç sahibi insanlar karşısında türlü şekillerde gizliden dilenenler yanında nasıl daha masum olabileceklerini anlatır. Eserde, roman kahramanı dilenme vesilesi ile gittiği yerlerde pek çok yeni şey de öğrenir. Bu yerler adliye gibi herkesçe malum resmi kurumlar da olabilir, bir ölüyü defnetmeye götüren cenaze kalabalığı gibi pek kimsenin dikkat etmediği topluluklar da. Böylelikle yazar, dilenci rolü ile dâhil olduğu toplumsal yapı içinde cereyan eden girift ilişkilerin muhtevası hakkında bilgi verirken aynı zamanda dilenciliğin hangi durumlarda ve hangi şekillerde tezahür ettiğinin panoramasını da sunar. Bu sunuşta dış görüntüleri hal ve hareketleri ile dilenenlerden çok niyetleri, hedefleri ve iç dünyaları ile dilenenlerin varlığına dikkat çekilir. The prayer offers a specific prototype with his role, clothes, behavior and character. In this role, the image of the prayer is much more advanced than whether he really needs or not, using tools such as clothes, words, attitudes and skills that help him play this role well. In society, from how the prayer is perceived to the subtilities of prayer, Reşat Nuri Güntekin, who translates many subjects with careful observation, in his work, Miskinler Tekkesi, addresses the phenomenon of prayer with a different look. Here, the author tells us how those who are openly praised to ordinary people in society can be more innocent to those who are secretly praised in various ways to have money, status, authority, and people who are more powerful than themselves to possess. In the work, the novel hero learns a lot of new things where he goes with the occasion of prayer. These places can be all-in-law official institutions, as well as communities that many people do not pay attention to, like the crowd of funeral that takes a dead to the funeral. Thus, the writer provides information about the greatness of the intrusion relationships that occur within the social structure in which the prayer's role is included, while also provides a panoramic picture of what situations and in what form prayer manifests. In this show, the appearance of the external images and movements and the presence of the desirable, the intentions, the goals and the inner worlds of the desirable is highlighted. The beggar represents a certain stereotype with his role, attire, behavior and character. In this role, whether or not the beggar is really needy is of lesser importance. Of more importance is the image he gives by using such means the attire, words, acts and the dexterity in playing his role with success. Reşat Nuri Güntekin, a famous Turkish novelist, looks at begging with a different eye in his work named “Miskinler Tekkesi”. He presents an array of subjects from how the beggar is perceived in society to the various tricks of begging based on a careful observation. The author shows how those who openly beg money from ordinary people in society might be more innocent than others who beg covertly in a number of ways vis-à-vis their superiors and power holders in order to obtain wealth, status and official rank. The chief character of the novel learns o lot of new thing at places to which he has gone for begging. These places include both official institutions known by everybody such as the administration of justice and the groups to which almost no one pays attention such as a crowd taking away a corpse for burial. Thus, the author, while giving much information about the contents of all the more intricate relations in the social structure, of which he has become a part in the appearance of a beggar, at the same time he conveys the conditions and ways in which begging takes place manifestly. In this representation and personification, primary attention is drawn to the existence of those who do begging through their intentions, purposes and inner worlds rather than to people who beg openly with their outward forms, behavior and acts.
