Sade ve basit bir forma sahip olan daire, bünyesinde geçmişi geleceği ve anı barındırır. Dünyamız, güneş ve tüm gezegenler, metal paralar, görmeye yarayan göz, daire şeklindedir. Bu geometrik form geçmiş dönemden bu güne insanoğlu için güçlü simgelerden biri olmuştur. Simgeler, düşüncelerin veya soyut kavramların somutlaştırılmış, grafik gösterimi şeklinde karşımıza çıkmaktadır. İlk Çağlardan bu yana daire formu simgesel olarak yaşamın bir parçası durumundadır. Yerleşim alanlarının kurulum şeklinden tutun da, gücün, sonsuzluğun anlatılmak istendiği bir çok şekil daire şeklindedir. Simgeler bize düşünme alanları sunarlar. İnsanda var olan simgesel düşünme şekli, sanatçıların da eserlerinde ortaya çıkar. İçerisinde farklı anlamlar barındıran daire formu başı ve sonu olmayan sonsuzluk fikrini devindirir. Formalist yaklaşım biçimi ile çalışan birçok sanatçı eserlerinde daire şeklini kullanmaktadır. Bu çalışmada daire formunun simgesel olarak görüldüğü yerler araştırılmıştır. Bu denli kuvvetli bir aktarım gücü olan daire formunun toplumsal bellek üzerindeki izlerinden yola çıkarak, bu kavramla çalışan sanatçılar ve ele alış nedenleri eserleri üzerinden incelenmiştir.
The apartment, which has a simple and simple shape, is home to the past and the future of the moment. Our world, the sun and all the planets, the metal coins, the eye to see, are in the shape of the apartment. This geometric form has been one of the strong symbols for mankind since the past period to this day. Symbols appear to us in the form of a concrete, graphic display of thoughts or abstract concepts. Since the early ages, the form of the apartment has been symbolically part of life. Keep in the form of the installation of the settlements, but the many forms of power, the eternity, are in the form of the apartment. Symbols give us areas of thinking. The symbolic way of thinking that exists in man appears in the works of the artists. The form of the apartment that contains different meanings in it devotes the idea of eternity without the beginning and end. Many artists who work with the formalistic approach use the shape of the apartment in their works. In this study, the places where the form of the apartment is symbolically seen have been investigated. From the traces of the apartment form, which is such a powerful transmission power, on the social memory, the artists working with this concept and the reasons for treatment have been studied through their works.
The circle, which has a plain and simple form, contains the past, the future and the moment. Our world, the sun, all the planets, coins, the eye that has the function of seeing, are all shaped like a circle. From past to present, this geometric form has been a powerful symbol for humans. Icons appear as embodied, graphical representation of thoughts or abstract concepts. Since the early ages, the circle form has been a part of life in a symbolic way. Many shapes with which power or infinity are expressed, are symbolized with the circle. The icons offer us a space of thinking. The symbolic way of thinking in human beings also emerges in the works of artists. Circle form, which has different meanings in it, impels the idea of infinity by having no beginning and no end. Many artists who work with a formalist approach, use circle shape in their works. In this study, the places where the circle form is seen as symbolic are researched. The artists working with this form and their reasons for handling the apartment are presented. Starting from the traces of this form on social memory, the artists working with this concept and the reasons for their approach to this concept are presented.
