Dîvânu Lugât’it-Türk Kâşgarlı Mahmud tarafından Tükçe-Arapça yazılmış bir sözlüktür. Arap dil bilgisi kurallarına göre yazılan eser, Türk kültür tarihi hakkında bize verdikleriyle önemli bir yere sahiptir. Türk dili tarihi çalışmalarında önemli bir yere sahip olan Dîvânu Lugât’it-Türk, Türk topluluklarının on birinci yüzyılda kullandıkları araç-gereçler üzerine de önemli bilgiler içermektedir. Bu çalışmada, dil-kültür ilişkileri doğrultusunda Dîvânû Lugât’it-Türk’te tarım ve hayvancılıkta kullanılan araç-gereçlerle ilgili söz varlığı tespit edilip on birinci yüzyıldan günümüze kadarki seyri takip edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmada Ahmet Bican Ercilasun ve Ziyat Akkoyunlu tarafından yapılan Dîvânu Lügât’it-Türk tercümesi esas alınarak öncelikle tarım ve hayvancılıkta kullanılan araç gereçlerle ilgili sözcükler tespit edilmiştir. Saptanan sözcükler kendi içinde sınıflandırılıp her madde başı koyu renk yazılarak parantez içinde sayfa numarası gösterilmiştir. Dîvânu Lügât’it-Türk’teki sözlük maddeleri aynen verildikten sonra sözcüğün açıklaması yapılmıştır. Genişleyen örneklerine, sesteşlerine, anlamsal ilişkide bulunduğu sözcüklere bu açıklamada yer verilmeye çalışılmıştır. Sırasıyla etimolojik sözlüklerdeki kullanımları incelenen sözcüklerin Türkiye Türkçesine gelene kadarki tarihsel süreçleri saptanmaya çalışılarak günümüz ölçünlü dildeki ve ağızlardaki kullanımına yer verilmiştir. Sir Gerard Clauson’un etimolojik sözlüğü esas alınmış, diğer etimolojik sözlüklerin farklılık göstermesi durumunda belirtilmiştir. Tarama sözlüğü incelenerek sözcüklerin kullanım dönemlerine ve değişkenlik gösterdiği dönemlere vurgu yapılmış, Türk Dil Kurumunun sözlüğü esas alınarak sözcüklerin ölçünlü dildeki durumu incelenmiştir. Derleme Sözlüğü’nden yararlanılarak ağızlardaki görünüm ve kullanımları tespit edilmiştir. Bu çalışma, on birinci yüzyıl Türk topluluklarının tarım ve hayvancılıkla uğraşırken nasıl bir yöntem izlediklerine ve o dönem kullandıkları dile dair bizlere fikir vermektedir.
Dîvânu Lugât'it-Turkish is a dictionary written in Turkish-Arabic by Mahmud Kashgarli. The work written according to the Arabic language knowledge rules has an important place with what it gives us about the Turkish culture history. Dîvânu Lugât'it-Türk, which has an important place in Turkish language historical studies, also contains important information on the tools used by the Turkish communities in the twelfth century. In this study, according to the language-cultural relationships in Dîvânû Lugât'it-Türk, the existence of the word related to the vehicles used in agriculture and livestock has been identified and the course from the eleventh century to the present day has been tried to be followed. In the study, based on the Dîvânu Lügât'it-Türk translation by Ahmet Bican Ercilasun and Ziyat Akkoyunlu, the words related to the vehicle tools used in agriculture and livestock have been identified. The words are classified in themselves and each item is written in dark color and the page number is shown in parantez. The word was explained after the dictionaries in Dîvânu Lügât-it-Türk were given exactly. Their expanding examples, their vocations, the words in meaningful relationship were tried to be included in this statement. Accordingly, the historical processes of the words studied in the etymological dictionaries until they arrived in the Turkish language have been identified in the use of the language and the mouths of today. The etymological dictionary of Sir Gerard Clauson is based on the other etymological dictionaries. The search dictionary was studied by emphasizing the periods of use and periods in which the words showed variation, based on the dictionary of the Turkish Language Institution, the status of the words in the measurable language was studied. Using the Assembly Dictionary, the appearance and uses in the mouth have been identified. This study gives us an idea of how the twelfth century Turkish communities followed the method when dealing with agriculture and livestock and the language they used in that period.
Dîvânu Lugât’it-Türk is a Turkish-Arabic dictionary written by Kâşgarlı Mahmud. The masterpiece which is written under the rules of Arabic grammar has an important place as it gives details about Turkish culture history. Dîvânu Lugât’it-Türk which has a place in Tukish language studies contains important information on tools and equipments which Turkish people used in 11th century. In this study, by detecting of existing of tools and equipments used in agriculture and livestock breeding in in Dîvânu Lugât’it-Türk in accordance with language-culture relationship, it’s tried to follow the process of them from the 11th century to now. In this study, Ahmet Bican Arcilasun and Ziyat Akkoyunlu translation of Dîvânu Lugât’it-Türk is used and firstly, the tools and equipments used in agrticulture and livestock breeding are detected. The words detected are classified among themselves and by writing each lexical entry in bold, page number is shown in brackets. After the word items in Dîvânu Lugât’it-Türk are given exactly the same, the explanations of the words are made. In this explanations, expanding examples, their allophones and the words which have semantic relations are tried to included the ethimological dictionary of Sir Gerard Clauson is taken as a basis and when the other ethimological dictionaries differ, it’s stated. By analzying the scan dictionary, the usage period of the words and the period of their changing are emphasized and the conditions of words in formal language are analyzed by using the dictionary of Turkish Language Association. Benefitting from the Compilation Dictionary their usage in the dialects are detected. This study gives us a clues about what kind of methods are used in agriculture and livestock breeding by Turkic people in 11th century and the language they used in that period.
