This study aims to reveal the general framework of the topical distribution of oral and poster statements presented at conferences held by EHMA over the past five years. The EHMA Conference is one of the most comprehensive and prestigious international conferences in the field of health management. The research is identifiable. All oral and poster statements presented at the conferences held by the European Health Management Association (EHMA) between 2014-2018 (in the past five years) have been included in the research scope. The study found that in the last five years a total of 491 reports were submitted, 375 of the reports were oral and 116 poster. The topics most presented in the conferences are "Patient strengthening with disease and treatment management" (13%). 21), “human resources in health organizations” (9.46) and “organizational behavior in health organizations” (8.65) are identified. The least submitted topics were “drug policies” (1.31%), “medical equipment sector” (0.49) and “health tourism” (0.49). With this study revealing the topics that have been studied in recent period in the field of health management, students who are looking for a topic in the master's, doctor's and specialized theses in medicine can be said to be an idealizer for researchers and academics working in the field of health management.

This study aims to reveal the general framework of the distribution of subjects of oral and poster presentations presented at conferences organized by EHMA in the last five years. The EHMA conference is one of the most comprehensive and respected international conferences in the field of health management. The research is descriptive. All oral and poster presentations presented at conferences organized by the European Health Management Association (EHMA) between 2014-2018 (last five years) were included in the research. In this study, it was determined that 491 papers were presented in the last five years, 375 of them were oral presentations and 116 of them were poster presentations. It has been identified that the most presented topics in the conferences were “disease and treatment management and patient empowerment” (13.21%), “human resources in health care organizations” (9.46%) and “organizational behavior in health care organizations” (8.65%). The least frequently presented topics in the conferences were “drug policies” (1.31%), “medical device sector” (0.49%) and “health tourism” (0.49%). As this study reveals the recently studied topics in the field of health management, it can be an idea for the students who are searching for topics in master theses, doctoral theses and medical theses, and researchers and academicians working in the field of health management.
