Sultan Veled, 1226 yılında bugünkü Karaman ilimizde dünyaya gelmiş, Mevlânâ Celâleddîn-i Rûmî’nin büyük oğludur. Tahsilini Konya ve Şam’da yapan Sultan Veled, babasının sohbetlerinde de bulunarak ilmi ve tasavvufî konularda kendini yetiştirmiş isimlerin başında gelir. Babasının vefatından sonra Mevleviliği bir tarikat haline getirmiş, 1285 yılında Mevlevi tarikatının şeyhi olmuş, 1312 yılına kadar (ölüm tarihi) şeyhliğini devam ettirmiş, ölümünden sonra, babasının kabrinin bulunduğu türbeye defnedilmiştir. Sultan Veled’in bir Dîvan’ı, İbtidânâme, Rebâb-nâme, İntihâ-name ve Maarif isimli eserleri bulunmaktadır. Babasının izinde bir şair ve mutasavvıf olan Sultan Veled’in şiirlerine baktığımızda ise, yorumlayıcı ve öğretici bir tarz karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Şiirlerini genel olarak Farsça kaleme alan şairin, Türkçe, Farsça-Türkçe, Farsça-Türkçe-Rumca karışık beyitleri de bulunmaktadır. Biz bu çalışmamızda, Sultan Veled’in Farsça rubailerindeki “Peygamberler ve Kıssaları” temasına bakmaya çalışacağız.
Sultan Veled, born in 1226 in today's Karaman province, is the greatest son of Mevlânâ Celâleddîn-i Rûmî. Sultan Veled, who made his assignment in Konya and Damascus, is also in his father's conversations and comes to the forefront of the names who educated themselves in the knowledge and tasavvufic matters. After his father's death, he made the Mevleviliya a taricate, in 1285 he became the sheikh of the Mevleviliya taricate, continued his taricate until 1312 (the date of his death), after his death, he was buried in the turbe where his father's grave was located. The name of Sultana Veled is a Divan, the name of Ibn ‘Abdullah, Rebâb-Nâme, Intihâ-name and Maarif. When we look at the poems of Sultan Veled, a poet and mutasavvif in his father's footsteps, a interpretative and teaching style comes to us. The poet, who has his poems in general in Persian, has also the Turkish, Persian-Turkish, Persian-Turkish-Romanian mixed beethings. In this work, we will try to look at the subject of the "Prophets and Messengers" in the Persian rubles of Sultan Veled.
Sultan Walad, the eldest son of Mawlana, was born in a city whose name is Karaman nowadays in 1226. Sultan Walad who studied in Konya and Damascus also improved himself in scientific and mystic subjects by attanding his father’s conversations. After his father’s death, he founded the Mawlawiya order and became the sheikh of this order in 1285. He remained as a sheikh until 1312 that is his death time. After his death he was buried into the mauseloum where his father was buried before. Sultan Walad’s works are Diwan, Ibtidaname, Rebabname, Intihaname and Maarif. An interpretative and didactic style is seen in Sultan Walad’s poems, a poet and mystic in the way of his father. Sultan Walad, who generally wrote his poems in Persian language, has also got Turkish, Persian-Turkish, Persian-Turkish-Greek poems. In our study we try to deal with “Prophets and Their Stories” in Sultan Walad’s rubais.
