Over the last decades, Non-governmental organizations, which strengthen social ties and develop social capital by voluntary movements, were indispensable for social life. Non-governmental organizations serve disadvantaged groups that have very complex problems. Volunteers, who are the most important actors of NGOs, have a great role to accomplish the mission of increasing the numbers of NGOs and to serve these groups effectively. Therefore, Volunteer management is required to carry out volunteer’s duties effectively and definitely. In this context, the subject of this study is to evaluate the processes of volunteer management of NGOs and to discuss human resources in scope of NGOs by a volunteer point of view. Accordingly, management and motivation of volunteers, the main richness of NGOs, are critical to the NGO’s and their volunteer’s performance.
