Bu araştırmada, lise öğrencilerinin çevrimiçi oyun tercihlerinin belirlenmesi ve çevrimiçi oyun oynama bozukluklarının farklı değişkenlere göre incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma ilişkisel tarama modeline uygun olarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın katılımcılarını 2019-2020 öğretim yılında Sakarya ilinde bulunan iki farklı özel okulda öğrenim gören 255 lise öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada “İnternet Oyun Oynama Bozukluğu Ölçeği Kısa Formu (İOOBÖ9-KF)” kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonunda lise öğrencilerinin çevrimiçi oyun oynama bozukluklarının olmadığı, erkek öğrencilerin kız öğrencilere göre çevrimiçi oyunu oynama bozukluklarının daha yüksek olduğu görülmüştür. Lise öğrencilerinin çevrimiçi oyunu oynama bozukluklarının öğrenim gördükleri sınıf düzeyleri ve evlerinde bilgisayarı olup olmama durumları açısından da anlamlı bir farklılık göstermediği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Ayrıca çevrimiçi ortamlarda oyun oynayan lise öğrencilerinin en çok Savaş ve FPS türlerini tercih ettikleri sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
This study aims to determine high school students' online gaming preferences and to study online gaming disorders according to different variables. The research was carried out in accordance with the relational scan model. The study includes 255 high school students studying in two different private schools located in Sakarya in the 2019-2020 academic year. The study used the "Internet Game Disorder Scale Short Form (IOOBÖ9-KF)" At the end of the study, high school students found that there were no online gaming disorders, and that boys had higher online gaming disorders than girls. The high school students have found that online gaming disorders do not make a significant difference in terms of class levels they study and whether they have a computer in their homes. It has also been achieved that high school students who play games in online environments prefer the most War and FPS types.

The participants of the study consist of 255 high school students studying in two different private schools in Sakarya in 2019-2020 academic year. Internet Gaming Disorder Scale Short Form (İOOBÖ9-KF) was used in the study. At the end of the study, it is concluded that high school students did not have online game playing disorders. It has been observed that male students have higher online game playing disorders than female students. Also, it is concluded that online game playing disorders of high school students do not differ significantly in terms of students' level of education and whether they have their own computer at home. In addition, it is concluded that high school students who play games in online environments mostly prefer war and FPS types.
