Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to identify the instrumental effect of student happiness in the relationship between the perception of the teaching effectiveness and the commitment to school of students who continue to teach in high school and to study according to some variables. The research is in the relative scan model in the imaginary nature. The universe of research is formed by students living in different regions of the level of socio-economic development. The study was conducted by 600 students. The study used the "Teacher Efficiency Assessment Scale" to determine the levels of perception of teachers' effectiveness, the "School Engagement Scale" to determine the levels of commitment to the school, and the "Oxford Happiness Scale-Short Form" to determine the levels of happiness. According to the findings obtained in the study, our students have a good level of perception of commitment to school, happiness and teacher effectiveness, there are positive relationships between these variables, and the levels of commitment to school, teacher effectiveness and teacher effectiveness significantly vary according to the level of socio-economic development of the areas where students live. The study found that the teacher's perception of effectiveness has a direct impact on school commitment and indirect impact on student happiness.
