Abstract:

This study aims to study the relationship between the lead-member interaction and organizational sinism in schools. The work is designed in the relational scanning model. The sample of the study is made up of 363 high school teachers who worked in the province of Shahinbey in Gaziantep in the 2018-2019 educational year. The data is collected through the "Leader-Member Interaction Scale" and the "Organized Synonym Scale". In the analysis of the data, SPSS and AMOS programs have been used. According to the findings from the analysis, there is a negative relationship between lead-member interaction and organizational sinism. Regression analysis concluded that both general and emotional, professional respect and contribution subdimensions of lead-member interaction put organizational sinism in a negative direction. The fact that teachers in schools are in communication with school managers will make organizational sinism behavior less shown. Therefore, it is important that teachers and managers establish trust-based relationships. In this process, it is also important that teachers meet the requirements of their professional roles, participate in activities aimed at the development of educational teaching, and establish relationships based on trust, respect and loyalty with both managers and other colleagues.
