Abstract:

The linguistic relationship between Turkish and Mongol has been the subject of many research in the context of the Altay Teory and new studies have also revealed important clues in the way of understanding the relationship between the two languages. The interaction between Turkish and Mongol began during the Altay Language Union period, and has come from the historic process to the present day on the side of both languages and sometimes at the point of internal unity. As a result of the revolution that the Turkish and Mongol have spent together as a single speech of the "Altay language" in these two languages today, there are many common basics in terms of word and form. One of these words is the subject of work. The historic texts and dictionaries of Turkish indicate that the journey of the Turkish from the ancient Turkish to the present has never been interrupted, and that it is used in all historic Turkish dictionaries mostly in close meanings, such as "word, word, speech, story". Today, the origins of the word, which is continued to be used in the Anadolu mouths and contemporary Turkish leaves with different phonetic variants, in ethymological studies, although mostly based on Mongol, has been found that no detailed information about the word's structure and origin has been given. In this study, the data obtained through literary scan was focused on the interpretation of the word in the ethymological studies/literatures and the origins of the subject was detailed and on the basis of the historical Turkish literatures, the works that reflect the general characteristics of these periods were placed on the use of the word and the use of these uses was assessed by indicating the dictionary and dictionary differences.
