Abstract:

Entrepreneurship, which increases its importance in the process from the past to the present day, continues to keep its importance increasing in terms of contributing to the economy of the country where the individual is located, creating new jobs. Therefore, in the growing competitive environment of countries, entrepreneurship is one of the key factors in bringing out innovative ideas and ensuring economic growth. The results of the research have shown that entrepreneurship is important in the education that the individual receives as much as heritage and economic status. Based on a potential entrepreneurial training, universities are the main institutions in which these training is provided. In this context, it is necessary to stand on the importance of acquiring entrepreneurial education with the assumption that university students are a entrepreneurial candidate. The aim of this study is to identify the level of entrepreneurship of students in sports sciences that can be an investor and entrepreneur in the sports industry that is growing every day. For this purpose Erzurum Atatürk University, Bayburt University and Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University at the Faculty of Sports Sciences of the last class students on the basis of some demographic variables the level of entrepreneurship was measured by the "University Students Entrepreneurship Scale" survey developed by Yılmaz and Sümbül (2009). In the analyses made, the students of the Faculty of Sports Sciences found that their entrepreneurship levels were at a high level of gender, university and entrepreneurship in general.
