Abstract:

In this article, we tried to deal with Yemen tafsir culture in general terms. In this context, attention was paid to the first nude of the Tafsir in the region, focusing on the serpentine of Tafsir which was published in Yemen. Muaz in Yemen b. Tafsir activity, which started in Jebel (17/638), had its first foundation with Abdurrezzak San'ânî (211/826), developed with Ebu Bekir al-Haddadi (800/1398), developed different and final shape with Şevkânî (1250/1834) It has received. We also had a preliminary examination of the qualities of the main sources fed by the Yemeni commentary. According to this, we can say that Yemen is some of the properties of tafsir cult. It is possible to trace Yemen's exegeticalism, which became a scholarly country with a question. I wonder, Can we say that Yemen sees the scholarly interest he deserves in terms of Qur'an and commentary accumulation? Are the tafsir activities in this area sufficiently examined? The questions can be extended further. In the context of these questions, we have examined Yemen's tafsirism in terms of the history of commentary. As a result, we have come to the conclusion that in Yemen there is a commentary of other itikadi views, not of a certain itikadi view. This article claims that neither the first nor the last word of the Qur'an culture and interpretation studies is in Yemen society. If we can not draw attention to the necessity of conducting research on exegesis studies done in Yemen, and if we can succeed in creating an idea in the matter, this article will attain its most important purpose.
