Abstract:

The increasing competition, depending on globalization, further increased the importance of the cooperation between university and industry. At present, the most important components of regional development consist of the universities, governmental institutes, and industry.. In this context, with the increasing importance of university- industry cooperation, the success mostly became dependent on the information and as a consequence of this, the need of business enterprises for the qualified labor force increased. Since university-industry cooperation reflected a social and cultural situation, it is necessary to know the features of both university and industry. University, according to the run, for understanding the origin of problems without having any time concern, making long termed studies, publicizes its knowledge. Industry, providing a competitive advantage, in a way that the control and knowledge will belong to it itself during studies, also undertakes the responsibility of risks. By knowing the features of these two factors, in way of cooperation, it is important to know that the sociocultural, political and economic instruments will also give direction to this cooperation.
