Abstract:

After the Civil War in Syria, a massive immigration occurred, 4 million Syrian migrants arrived in Turkey. The majority of these immigrants arriving in our country are under 18 years of age and more than 1 million are in school age. In the early days, a large majority of them were receiving their education in the Interim Education Centers (GEM). But recently, more than 500 thousand Syrian students have been forced to go to state schools for reasons such as integration, language problems, quality education problems. Given the relevant numbers, the ways in which these children will adapt and receive education will clearly have a very profound impact on Turkey. At this point, it is very important that immigrant students are integrated into the country’s educational system and social structure. In the process of progress through the qualified education that will be provided, children will find the opportunity to be involved in the country’s social, cultural and economic life, and thus the harmony will be easier. In education integrity, it is also an important social phenomenon that will relieve the process for immigrant children to adapt to the environment in which they are and to develop themselves emotionally, socially and socially. Sports can have a positive impact on the point of developing the integration, socialization, solidarity and cooperation of people in different communities. The purpose of this collection is to review and comprehensively reveal the studies in which the impact of sports activities are studied on the education system of immigrant children and the process of adaptation to the school.
