Abstract:

The aim of this study is to study the attitudes of high school students who learn from a distance during the pandemic process towards the use of mobile learning in math lessons. The research has used a screening model. According to the purpose of the research, the participants of the research are 308 high school students who are studying in the middle schools located in the central district of Bartın Illi in the process where their educational activities are carried out fully by distance education due to the Covid-19 epidemic and who agree to participate voluntarily in the research. The data of the study was collected using the information form and the mathematics course using the mobile learning scale. As a result of normality tests, the data was found to show normal distribution and the data analysis used samples independent of parametric statistical tests t tests and ANOVA tests. According to the study, the high school students’ mobile learning attitude levels are at the middle level. Students’ mobile learning attitudes vary significantly according to class level, while there is no significant difference according to gender, internet use time and internet connection type variables. Finally, according to the findings of the study, various recommendations for the application were presented and research recommendations were given for further studies.
