Abstract:

The aim of this study is to study the impact of my technology-backed teaching science teacher candidates on the self-confidence of technological pedagogical field knowledge (TPAB) and self-capacity beliefs towards computer use in science teaching. For this purpose, the force and movement units at the level 6, 7 and 8 were selected and a experimental research was designed. During the spring period of study at a major city university, 30 teachers candidates who studied in the last class of science teaching participated. To collect work data, the TPAB self-confidence scale and the self-confidence scale for computer use have been adapted. The analysis of the data obtained from 30 teachers candidates was carried out with the SPSS 17.0 program. The findings obtained show that science knowledge of technology-backed teaching teachers are effective in developing TPAB self-confidence, self-capacity beliefs towards computer use in science teaching.
