Abstract:

Bu çalışmada, aktif sporcu olan üniversite öğrencilerinin kadın algısına yönelik tutumlarının incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma, nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden betimsel ve ilişkisel tarama modeliyle tasarlanmıştır. Çalışma grubu, sporcu olan 579 katılımcıdan oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak kişisel bilgi formu ile Kadın Algısı Tutum Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde Independent Sample T Test ve One Way ANOVA testi kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler neticesinde araştırmaya katılan katılımcıların kadına yönelik algılarının cinsiyet ve sınıf düzeyi değişkenlerine göre anlamlı bir farklılık gösterdiği ön kabuller ve toplumsal kazanımlar alt boyutlarında kız öğrencilerin erkek öğrencilere oranla kadına yönelik algılarının daha yüksek olduğu toplumsal yaşamda kayıplar, kadının statüsü ve çözüm önerileri alt boyutlarında ise erkek öğrencilerin kız öğrencilere oranla kadına yönelik algılarının daha yüksek olduğu söylenebilir. Sonuç olarak, sporcu üniversite öğrencilerinin kadının statüsü ve çözüm önerilerine yönelik algıların düşük olduğu ifade edilebilir. Özellikle cinsiyet farklılığı ve eğitim seviyeleri dikkate alındığında bu farklılığın daha belirgin olarak ortaya çıktığı görülmektedir.

Abstract:

In this study, the aim is to study the attitudes of university students who are active athletes towards the female perception. The study is designed with a visual and relative scanning model from quantum research methods. The work group consists of 579 participants who are athletes. In the study, the data collection tool was used as a personal information form and the female perception attitude scale. The data analysis used the Independent Sample T Test and the One Way ANOVA test. According to the results of the study, the perceptions of women by the participants showed significant differences according to the variables of gender and class level; the perceptions of women by the girls in the lower dimensions of pre-acceptance and social achievements are higher than the girls in the lower dimensions; the perceptions of women by the girls in the lower dimensions of social life are higher than the girls in the lower dimensions; the perceptions of women in the lower dimensions are higher than the girls in the lower dimensions; the perceptions of women in the lower dimensions are higher than the girls in the lower dimensions; the perceptions of women in the lower dimensions are higher than the girls in the lower dimensions. As a result, it can be stated that athlete’s university students have a low perception of the woman’s status and solutions recommendations. Especially when taking into account gender differences and educational levels, this difference appears more clearly.

This study aims to investigate the attitudes of university students who are active athletes towards women perception. In this research, descriptive and relational survey models were used. The study group of the research consisted of 579 university athlete students. As the data collection tool in this study, Women Perception Attitude Scale and Personal Information form were used. In statistical analysis, the Independent Sample T-Test, One Way ANOVA, and Pearson Correlation test were used. As a result of the data obtained; it was determined that perception towards women of the participants in the study showed a significant difference according to gender and class level variables and in the subscales of pre-acceptances and social achievements female students' perceptions of women are higher than male students; in the subscales of social life, the status of women and the solution suggestions, male students have higher perceptions about women than girls. It can be stated that university students have low perceptions of women's status and solution suggestions. Especially when gender differences and education levels are taken into consideration, this difference can be explained more clearly. At this point, it is suggested that the concept of gender should be considered in the context of educational curricula, especially within the framework of higher education institutions.
