Bu araştırma, Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının değerler eğitimine ve Sosyal Bilgiler öğretim programında yer alan değerlere yönelik görüşlerinin belirlenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yaklaşımına uygun olan durum çalışması modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu, gönüllülük esasına dayalı olarak, amaçsal örnekleme yöntemlerinden biri olan kolay ulaşılabilir durum örneklemesi ile belirlenmiştir. Araştırma 2017-2018 eğitim-öğretim yılında Elazığ Fırat Üniversitesi, Malatya İnönü Üniversitesi ve Muş Alparslan Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültelerinde öğrenim gören Sosyal Bilgiler öğrencileri ile yapılmıştır. Araştırma verileri görüşme tekniği ile yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılarak elde edilmiş ve elde edilen veriler içerik analizi yöntemi ile çözümlenmiştir. Araştırma verileri nitel veri analiz programı kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Bulgular değerlendirildiğinde, Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının değerler eğitimine ve Sosyal Bilgiler öğretim programında yer alan değerlere yönelik görüşlerine bakıldığında değer kavramının ve değer eğitiminin farkında oldukları, değer eğitiminin sadece okul ile sınırlı kalmadığını bu eğitimin ailede verilebileceği gibi yaşam boyu sürebileceğini ifade ettikleri belirlenmiştir. Sosyal Bilgiler dersinin değerler eğitiminde ki rolünün, etkili vatandaş yetiştirme, ulusal ve evrensel değerlere sahip çıkma ve kültürel değerleri koruma adına önemli bir yere sahip olduğu saptanmıştır. Sosyal Bilgiler öğretim programında yer alan değerlere ve değerler eğitimine ilişkin farklı önerilere ulaşılmıştır. Buna göre öğretmen adaylarına değer öğretimi ile ilgili bilgilendirilmeler yapılabilir, bu bilgilendirmeler uygulamalarla desteklenebilir.
This research was conducted with the aim of determining the opinions of Social Information teachers candidates on the values education and the values included in the Social Information curriculum. The study has used a state study model that corresponds to the quality research approach. The study group was determined by the easy-to-accessful state sampling, which is one of the objective sampling methods, based on the essence of volunteering. The research was conducted in the 2017-2018 educational year with students of Social Information studying at Elazığ Fırat University, Malatya Inönü University and Muş Alparslan University Education Faculty. The research data obtained and obtained using the semi-configured interview form with the interview technique and the data obtained by the content analysis method. The research data was evaluated using the quality data analysis program. When the findings are assessed, the Social Information teacher candidates are aware of the concept of value and the value education when they consider the values of education and their views on the values included in the Social Information curriculum, the value education is not limited only to the school, and they are expressed that this education can last a lifetime as it can be given in the family. The social knowledge course has established that the role in the education of values has an important place in the name of effective citizenship education, national and universal values and the protection of cultural values. Values and values included in the social information curriculum have been obtained with different recommendations on education. According to this, the teachers candidates can be informed about the value teaching, this information can be supported by practices.
The DBU research was conducted in order to determine the values education of the candidates of Social Studies Teachers and their opinions about the values in the Social Studies Curriculum. The case study model which is suitable for the qualitative research approach was used in the research. The study group of the study was determined on the basis of volunteering, with one of the purposeful sampling methods, easily accessible case sampling. The research was carried out with the students of Elazığ Fırat University, Malatya İnönü University and Muş Alparslan University Education Faculty, Social Studies students in 2017-2018 academic year. The data of the study were obtained by using a semi-structured interview form with the interview technique and the obtained data were analyzed with the content analysis method. The research data were evaluated using the qualitative data analysis program. When the findings were evaluated, it has been determined that the value of social studies teacher candidates are aware of value education and value education when they see the value education and the opinions about the values in Social Studies curriculum. It has been determined that the role of the Social Studies course in value education has an important place in educating effective citizens, owning national and universal values and protecting cultural values. Different proposals have been reached regarding the education of values and values in the curriculum of Social Studies. Accordingly, pre-service teachers can be informed about value teaching and these informations can be supported by applications.
