Abstract:

The words and speeches are codes that provide clues about a nation’s cultural life and link between generations. Through educational and educational activities, these codes are attempted to be transmitted to children. It is expected that the curriculum books used as primary curriculum in the day-to-day educational institutions will also contain the relevant cultural codes. With this study in the Turkish curriculum books taught in high schools, the presence of word and speech in the thematic texts entitled "National Culture" which is expected to promote the cultural heritage to students more intensely than other topics. The Qualification Model Research Decides to be taught by the Presidency of the Education and Education Council for the 2018-2019 educational year, 5, 6, 7 and 8. Class Turkish curriculum books are studied through document analysis. At the end of the study, recommendations were also presented to the authors of the curriculum and field researchers.
