Abstract:

The aim of this study is to study the levels of preparation for primary school for children who continue to pre-school education institutions in terms of maternal variation. The sample of the study was identified by random sample method, with a total of 445 pre-school children, including 119 mother Turkish and 326 mother Kurdish children. For data analysis, t-test for independent samples and two-factor ANOVA analysis have been used.Mother Turkish and mother Kurdish pre-school children's level of preparation for primary school has been found to show a significant difference in the language, communication and literature sub-dimensions and social sciences sub-dimensions. The age and maternity, maternity, the number of children in the maternity family, maternity mother’s educational level, maternity father’s educational level and the common effect of maternity and family’s monthly income variables has not been found to have an impact on the levels of children’s preparation for primary school. The common effect of maternity and pre-school learning time variables is determined that children have an impact on the level of preparation for primary school.
