Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to study the levels of extinction of bachelor students who receive art education in the context of the relationship with various variables. In accordance with this goal, the extinction levels have been measured by applying the Maslach Extinction Reserve-Student Form (MTE-ÖF) to students who receive art education at the bachelor's level. The results obtained from the scale have been studied in terms of various variables. Maslach Extinction Inventory-Student Form, Schaufeli etc. It was developed in 2002 and adapted to Turkey by Çapri, Gündüz and Gökçakan in 2011. The data on the variables within the research scope of the students is obtained through the student information form. The distribution of data is determined by the Shapiro-Wilk test. Data analysis used t-test, one-way variance analysis (ANOVA) and Tukey test for independent groups. The statistical analysis is done with the SPSS 19.0 software (SPSS Inc., Chicago, IL, USA). The research finds that graduate students who receive art education have a low level of extinction in the lower dimensions of "sweating" and a low level in the lower dimensions of "disconsciousness" and "effectiveness". The weekly class hour burden, age and future concern variables have been determined to affect the extinction levels of students who receive art education.
